Following several years of development work ATC is joining forces with a sister charity The Charterhouse Group (which specialises in supporting therapeutic communities working with children and young people) and we have formed a new charity "The Consortium for Therapeutic Communities" - referred to as TCTC.

We have created a draft manifesto for the new organisation and we welcome your comments to add to its development.

This website is essential for people wanting to know more about TCs. It describes the different types of TCs, what they do and who might benefit from them. Our member TCs can be found across the UK and overseas and if you are looking for a TC in your area you will find the members directory very helpful. Our Jobs pages will also keep you up to date with vacancies in the sector.

This website will be evolving as we move through our transition to TCTC so revisit regularly for the latest developments.

In particular, we have some important dates for your diary:

1. Our annual conference in 21st - 23rd October at Cumberland Lodge, Windsor Great Park. More information available shortly. Email to register interest.
2. Our quarterly Children and Young People's Sector Group: 11th April, 4th July, 3rd October, 10am-4pm at the Planned Environment Therapy Trust near Cheltenham. Email us for details.
