What makes it a therapeutic community:

We build and form the therapeutic system, culture together with the patients learning from each other.  Our central values are: reflectivity, openness, dialogicity, agency, holding, containing, attachment, collective experiences.  Active participation in the community life including cleaning, gardening, keeping rooms tidy etc. and defining the community rules.  Retextil manufacture:  making unique hand-made goods from recycled textile waste.

We keep connection with the local health, social and educational services and institutions (Child Guidance Clinics, Family Care Services, Psychiatric Outpatients Services and Hospitals, Family Doctors).  We participate in the postgradual psychiatry and clinical psychology, gradual psychology and social work education.  Our staff members are members of the following Hungarian Associations:  Hungarian Psychological Association, Hungarian Psychiatric Associations, Hungarian Psychoanalytical Association, Hungarian Family Therapy Association, Group Therapy Association, Hungarian Hypnosis Association, Hungarian Psychodrama Association.

Ongoing research, audit programmes, and/or effectiveness or quality procedures in place:

We started our operation three years ago.  Now we are starting a research to examine the agency factors and effectiveness of the system.  We work in qualitative (computer aided content and discourse analysis of semi-structure interviews) and quantitative (self completing questionnaires, scaling methods) methods analysing therapeutic acts.  We are planning to start an action research by the end of this year.
